ILLUMINATE LEARNING & EVALUATION REPORT
“I think there needs to be …a re-… like a significant reimagining and… but I think in doing that, we also need to hold firm to what is the core values of Illuminate that needs to be clearly defined, identified, and it needs to be the thing that guides the next stage, especially now that what we do is not as attractive. It’s not as sexy in this climate, we need to kind of hold firm on, on the on what we’re doing, but at the same time, I think there needs to be a push to foster a greater sense of community.

Illuminating Pathways to Systems Change: Learning and Evaluation Report
Illuminate is proud to release the findings of its Learning and Evaluation Project, a year-long exploration of the impact and progress of our programs and initiatives over the past three years.
The report dives into key insights from our justice-aligned systems change learning cohorts, Equitable Horizons Blog Series, the Luminary Fund and other members of our community, showcasing how collective leadership and equity-centered approaches can foster transformative systems change. Rooted in the principles of justice and equity, the evaluation highlights opportunities to refine our work, deepen member engagement, and create pathways for sustainable impact.
Through this exploration, Illuminate continues its commitment to centering justice, equity, and collaboration in systems change and invites our community to engage with the findings as we look to the future.
We’d also like to say thank you to our evaluators Drs Sharon Attipoe Dorcoo and Kimberly Harris, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and all the members of our network who participated in this initiative.
