Welcoming our new Steward Group members✨

We are delighted to announce our new members of the Steward Group. We extend a warm welcome to Pape Samb and Maya Narayan, both Luminary Cohort members of the inaugural offering the Luminary Fund in 2021:   


Pape Samb, Global Vice-President and Executive Director -  Ashoka Africa, has more than twenty years of leadership experience, with an established record of strategic planning, youth and women entrepreneurship, program development and management, content management, fundraising, proposal writing, training and facilitation.  


Maya Narayan, Co-Founder, Holon Perspectives,  has a decade of work experience in diverse roles such as Team Leadership, Business Analysis, Multi-sectoral Research, Program Design and Monitoring & Evaluation. She is working towards strengthening the systems thinking ecosystem in India so as to equip leaders and development practitioners, with skills to solve wicked problems. 

 

Three founding members of the Steward Group will continue to support into the next phase of Illuminates work: 


Tatiana Fraser is an author, speaker, systems change leader, and Co-Founder and Director of The Systems Sanctuary. The Systems Sanctuary is designed to be a ‘refuge for systems leaders’. Recognizing the very real challenges associated with leading systems change work and particularly for women leading this work in the world. 


Marta Ceroni, is the Director of Programs at the Academy for Systems Change. In that role she coordinates research and content development building on Donella Meadows’ work. With a doctorate in forest ecology, over the years Marta has become interested in economies that prioritize communities and nature.


Anna Birney, is CEO of the School of System Change, which is seeking to build an international learning community of change makers using systemic practices to address the complex challenges of our times. She is passionate about designing and facilitating systems change programmes that support people, communities and organisations to transform their practice.  


About the Steward Group

The intention and spirit behind the Stewardship Group is to provide administrative oversight and  programmatic direction for the Illuminate Network as it continues to support pathways of collective learning and creating connections across experience, practice and theories in ways that reframe, reorient and redesign the field of systems change towards equitable and regenerative transformation.
